Due to God's moving and working, we are pleased to announce a NEW PLACE for our weekly worship services. We are presently worshipping at 17002 South Broadway in Tyler, TX, and we welcome you to our worship services EACH SUNDAY @ 12 NOON for an "HOUR OF POWER". We have been blessed by the leadership of Pastor Pike Wisner and Pastor Chris Legg of 1st Baptist to allow us to worship on their south campus.
When you come to THE CROSS you will be given an opportunity to participate in authentic and relevant worship, fellowship with the believers, receive relevant preaching and teaching, and be inspired to face life wtih a renewed outlook. Lives are changing @ THE CROSS!
Children's church is provided for parents who want their children to be in a nurturing environment with caring and committed Christian teachers. You are welcome to sign in at the beginning of our worship services.
Sunday bible study at 10:30 in the sanctuary prior to worship. Please join our mailing list to stay informed about bible study classes and discipleship class this fall/spring!
When you come, we guarentee that you will feel the love as soon as you come. Dress is not an issue at all, so don't let that deter you. You will see people in their Sunday's best and others in jeans. If you don't like hugs, smiles, handshakes, laughter, and people genuinely connecting with you it is guarenteed that you won't like being @ THE CROSS.
You can expect a worship service that is aware of timeliness but is free flowing while being filled with much spirit. Our services consist of the following:
Scripture
Prayer
Worship and praise songs
Fellowship period
Worship through giving (tithes/offering)
Sermon
Invitation to discipleship
You will appreciate the down-home feel with a contemporary tilt of service. EVERYTHING is all about God, because He change lives!
